Terms and Conditions for a Hosted Page
Some rules apply both for technical reasons and for matters of the time and effort
involved in maintaining these
pages ...
- Only non-
commercial organisations based in or significantly active in the parish of Winnersh will be eligible to have a hosted page - An organisation may only have one hosted page, although this may be up to twice the depth of this page and have a limited number of documents attached
- Attached documents must be in PDF format, although some other formats (eg Microsoft Word) may be submitted and will be converted to PDF format before being loaded onto the website
- Text will be formatted in black Arial font by default -
other fonts may be used on request but limited to Comic Sans MS, Courier New, Georgia, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS and Verdana - Content should not require updating more frequently than once per month (except initially while the page is being established)
- Normal standards of legality and courtesy are required
- The Winnersh Parish Website reserves the right to edit source material for format, spelling, grammar and length; any other changes will be made only with the approval of the submitting organisation
- The submitting organisation may request the hosted page to be removed at any time
- The Winnersh Parish Website webmaster will use best endeavours to action any requests for update or removal of content on a hosted page within a reasonable time but no guarantees are given and the Winnersh Parish Website cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of any inaccuracy or error within that page or for any delay in updating or removing content
- In any dispute the decision of the webmaster is final
- Any request to have a hosted page is taken to deem acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and a page will only be hosted while the submitting organisation agrees to and conforms to these Terms and Conditions
