Purpose and Aims
The first meeting of The Society was held in April 2001. The purpose of The Society is to study, share and record the history of Winnersh and the surrounding areas. The specific aims are:
a) Encourage interest in local history
b) Research, collate and record matters relating to local history
c) Conserve local heritage and artifacts
Meetings
The society meets on the 3rd Monday of each month except August. All indoor meetings are held at the Sindlesham Baptist Hall, Bearwood Road, Sindlesham at 7:45 pm for an 8:00 pm start.
