What do you want at the Winnersh Community Centre and Bearwood Recreation Ground?

The Winnersh Community Centre and Allnatt Pavilion (at Bearwood Recreation Ground) have served the community well for half a century. They have been well maintained but are in need of significant upgrade or replacement to bring them up to modern standards. We also want to ensure they are energy efficient and can offer more attractive and flexible spaces for a wider range of activities.

In deciding whether to upgrade or replace the buildings we need to know what type of activities and services our community require. We want our offering to be enticing enough for people to want to spend time at our facilities, whether that is before, during or after any groups or classes you may attend. So, for example, a café to meet up with family and friends, perhaps after dropping children at the local school or just enjoying a day in the park.

Alternatively, you may just want to use the Bearwood Recreation Ground in which case are there any changes or improvements you would like to see in our park?

To help us understand and create a plan for the facilities we would like to hear your suggestions, however diverse they may be, so we are creating a questionnaire so that you can easily tell us what you really want.

We are keen to get as many responses as possible so we are asking you to please complete the questionnaire – it will only take a few minutes of your time, and your responses will shape the parish council plans for the future.

Once we have your input we will pull together all your ideas and share with you those we are able to include in the plans going forward. We are keen to move this project forward, so please return your questionnaires by 30th September 2021.

Please contact the Parish Office on 0118 978 0244 or email clerk@winnersh.gov.uk if you have any questions.

Thank you.
