What does the Group do?
The Centre Forward Community Action Group (CFCAG) is a group of local residents within the Rainbow Park and Courts areas of Winnersh.
The aim of CFCAG is to protect the interests of the local community and work in partnership with other agencies such as Wokingham Borough Council, Housing Associations and the voluntary sector to maximise the provision of appropriate services for the local community.
The Group raises funds which are re-invested in the community, an example of which is the play area which was mainly funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
CFCAG also runs activities for all the community, including:
- indoor bowls on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- monthly mini bus trips to assist the less able to get out and to help with shopping
- monthly over 50 lunches
- regular social events
