The staff of the Council are based at the Winnersh Community Centre and are responsible for day-to-day management of the Council’s affairs and facilities.

The Assistant Clerk is responsible for the day to day management of the council’s finances and clerking the council’s Planning and Transport Committee meeting. The Assistant Clerk also deputises for the Parish Clerk.

The Community Engagement and Lettings Officer (CELO) is responsible for
hiring the Community Centre facilities, as well as managing the allotments and the parish council’s website and social media. The CELO also deputises for the Parish Clerk.

Caretaker

The Caretaker is responsible for the cleansing, maintenance, and security
of the Council’s facilities at the Winnersh Community Centre and Bearwood Recreation Ground. This includes opening and closing the premises for users, cleaning throughout to a high standard and monitoring safety issues.

Relief Caretaker (P/T)

The Relief Caretaker provides cover when the full-time caretaker is not on duty (generally every Thursday) or is on annual leave.

The Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) is responsible for the
management of the council’s facilities and staff and for supporting the work of the Council and its Committees. If you have any general queries about the Parish Council, the Clerk is usually the best person to contact first.
