During this time of worry and uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic there are many charities and organisations ready to help local residents.
Wokingham Borough Council has a number of initiatives including joining with Citizens Advice Wokingham on its One Front Door project. This project helps individuals and families access support with food, prescriptions, help with debt and benefits as well as providing social contact to those who are at risk of loneliness and isolation.
Wokingham Borough Council is also continuing its scheme to improve digital inclusion and is asking for donations of IT equipment which can be given to those who need it to help with social contact and to vulnerable families.
We want to help our communities as much as possible ❤
