“Rather frustratingly there was a one month delay in getting the approved works out to tender at the beginning of the September, and whilst the tender process is now underway WBC will not be in a position to appoint a contractor until the end of October. Providing we receive a suitable bid for the tender then the revised project programme should allow us to finish construction of the allotments by the end of February 2019. Once we have appointed a contractor and have a start date we will make sure that we share the revised programme with the allotment holders through the Parish Council.”
